PAYMENT POLICY

LAY-BY

Jigsaw Furniture is happy to offer our preferred customers the option to lay-by.   Lay-by terms and conditions are as follows:

Deposit:  A minimum deposit of 20% of the total order amount is required at the time the lay-by order is placed.

Acceptance:  Upon payment of the initial deposit, youare deemed to have agreed and accepted Jigsaw Furniture's Lay-By Statement as well as our Terms and Conditions.

Lay-By Payments: Regular fortnightly payments must be made in order to maintain the lay-by agreement.  If you are having trouble making your lay-by payments on time, you should contact Jigsaw Furniture as soon as possible to discuss alternative options.  If you fail to make payments, you are in breach of the contract and Jigsaw Furniture reserves the right to cancel your lay-by.

Lay-By Period:  An order may be placed on lay-by for a period up to 12 weeks.  Should extra time be needed to complete the lay-by agreements, please contact Jigsaw Furniture to discuss an extension.  Regular fortnightly repayments must continue to be made during the extension.

Changes to Lay-By:  In some cases, you may be permitted to change the product(s) of the Lay-By purchase once the Lay-By contract has commenced.  Should there be any need to alter a Lay-By order, an email or letter must be sent to Jigsaw Furniture for further review.

Change of Details:  It is the responsibility of the Customer to notify Jigsaw Furniture of any change in their personal details (for example, address, email address, contact number etc).

Delivery:  Orders will be delivered to you once the final payment is made and all payments have cleared into Jigsaw Furniture's bank account.

Lay-by Cancellation: In the event that you change your mind or are late in making the specified payments on your lay-by, you are will be in breach of our Lay-by Terms and Conditions.

Jigsaw Furniture reserves the right to cancel a lay-by when:

  1. You have broken the terms and conditions of the lay-by and have not rectified this breach within 14 days of notice from Jigsaw Furniture.
  2. Your lay-by order is in suspension for an extended period of time (ie one month from the date of first payment reminder email/letter issued) and is not rectified by you, the order may be cancelled at Jigsaw Furniture's discretion and all payments previously collected will be forfeited without refund.

Should you wish to cancel your lay-by, you will be required to pay a Lay-By Cancellation fee of 20% of the total order amount. 

Any monies remaining in your favour will be transferred to a in-store credit voucher issued by Jigsaw Furniture.  This voucher will be valid for use at Jigsaw Furniture for 30 days from date of issue.
